So Many Ways to Explore Lassen National Park
Lassen Parks Kohm Yah-mah-nee Visitor Center is only 10 minutes away from The Village. The Visitor Center is a great first stop to plan out your day. The park offers over 150 miles of trail hiking, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing. Or take a scenic drive through the park and enjoy all of the sites, smells and history of a volcanic mountain.
Cross Country Skiing
At The Village, you can ski right out your front door! We offer cross-country ski rentals, guided tours and ski lessons with our certified mountain guide and instructor. Lunch packages from our chef can be prepared for your outing with 24-hour notice. There’s no better way to experience the beauty and wonder of Lassen National Forest.
We offer mountain bike rentals and guided rides through the Park. Our fleet of new Trek mountain bikes in various sizes will accommodate the entire family. Mountain bike trails are abundant throughout the Lassen National Forest and can be enjoyed by all expertise levels. Bear in mind that at 5000 ft. elevation, you may require some extra time to adjust to the altitude. Come prepared and hydrate often.
Many stream and river tributaries flow through this area. Some of our favorite streams include the Feather River, Mill Creek, Deer Creek, Warner Creek, Yellow Creek and Battle Creek. Explore on your own or contact our local fishing guide, Ben Williams. Book your trip with Ben at fishdogoutdoors.com or we can make arrangements for you.
